My Photography Gear

Professional Photography requires professional gear.

Not all cameras and lenses are equal!

I like to think of it that you are hiring the best equipment possible to capture your day. Equipment that wont fail you, and is the top of the range when it comes to image quality. It means that I can shoot no matter what the weather or light is doing. From the darkest dance floors to the sunniest of days and still have great clarity, contrast, focus and colours which gives you incredible photos all day, from the very first to the very last.

the cameras : Canon R5 & Fuji GFX100II

I carefully select what I use because there is a lot of camera gear out there. Not all of it is suitable for weddings and I certainly don't stick to one lense on auto mode all day. My current setup is just beautiful. The image quality of this gear is just through the roof - it has natural skin tones and with the incredible eye/body focus is a joy to use for shooting people especially as they move around and dance at weddings. This means your images will be crystal clear.

I use 4 camera bodies, which help me in not only having redundant gear, but I can use a 3rd camera as a remote trigger and always have other cameras on me at all times. This means if anything fails, I have backup gear ready to go so I won't miss a thing.

The Lenses

The lenses I use for Canon are the 15-35/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 50/1.2, 85/1.2 and 100 Macro. On the Fuji I use the 23/4, 45/2.8, 32-64/4, 110/2, 250/4 & the Contax 645 80/2.

A wide choice of lenses means I can shoot any weddings efficiently and discretely.

The Drones

Adding to my incredible kit are not one, but 2 Drones.

Firstly the Mavic 3 for incredible image quality, and then the Mini 3 Pro for discrete aerial work (i.e. walking down the aisle)

What I love about the drone images, is that the possibilities are endless. it allows me to capture you both at an angle just not possible otherwise....Where you choose to get married will have a huge emotional significance to you. I utilise the drone to be able to capture you both in the surroundings you have chosen for your day.
